Welcome New SEAWI Board Members!

We are excited to introduce to you our new SEAWI board members and welcome them to their new positions. We look forward to the coming year!

President-Elect: David M. Boldt, PE
David is a structural engineer at raSmith with over a decade of experience -- primarily in structural design, but also repair and restoration of existing buildings, as well as testing and inspection of structural steel. While at raSmith, he has applied his design skills to a variety of building types, including healthcare, office, and civic projects throughout Wisconsin, plus higher education and K-12 facilities.  David also frequently performs assessment and consulting services related to existing structures.
David has been involved with SEAWI since 2010.  In 2011, he received a SEAWI Award for Outstanding Contribution based on “Significant Influence and Dedicated Service” to the organization, primarily related to his work with SEAWI’s Legislative Committee.  David presented, with Phil Fish of Fish & Associates, at the 2012 Spring Conference on the topic of “Basic Quality Assurance for Structural Steel”.  David also presented, with Mike Schmidt of Spancrete, at the 2016 Fall Conference, discussing the Highland Manor Community Safe Room, which earned a 2016 SEAWI Excellence in Engineering Award (in the Small Project category).  David served as a judge for the 2017 SEAWI Excellence in Engineering Awards.  He currently serves on the SEAWI Board of Directors as the Southwest Regional Director.

Treasurer: Mike Manor, PE, MLSE
Having lived several places throughout the Midwest, Mike graduated with both BS and MS degrees from Kansas State University before spending 14 years in Minnesota gaining structural design experience across the country in many different building materials. During his time in Minnesota, he was active with the Minnesota Structural Engineers Association (MNSEA) steering committee and served in several different officer positions including president. Over the last year since crossing the border into Wisconsin, Mike has enjoyed his new role at FORSE Consulting helping other engineers through educational speaking opportunities and project work. This last spring Mike decided to start paying forward to the next generation of engineers by teaching as an adjunct professor at the Milwaukee School of Engineering. Now he is excited for the chance to work with the engineers of Wisconsin to help develop the structural engineering community and profession by giving a helping hand where needed.

Southeast Regional Director: Joshua Hoheneder, PE
Joshua began his career designing underground infrastructure in Chicago, Illinois after graduating from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee.  In September of 2017, he moved back to Wisconsin and joined the Pierce Engineers team.  Joshua has been a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the Structural Engineers Association of Illinois (SEAOI).  His passion has been to be involved with structural engineering both in profession and education.  Joshua believes it is important to encourage growth of the profession in the state and continuing to encourage membership growth while offering expanded benefits to the organization's members.  These will be his priorities as Southeast Regional Director.

Southwest Regional Director: Jeff Perrin
Jeff is a structural engineer at raSmith. He attended UW Platteville for Building Construction Management, and worked as a field superintendent on a few projects across the U.S. before returning to Platteville for his engineering degree.  Jeff has three years of structural engineering design experience, working on projects in housing, higher education and K-12 schools, athletic facilities, and various other commercial projects primarily in Wisconsin.  Many of these projects include additions/alterations to existing facilities.  Jeff is excited to join SEA-WI and continue developing his skills as an engineer.
